2014
The ANZ Premiership (formerly Championship) is an annual netball tournament between the regional teams of Australia and New Zealand. For this project, I was tasked with building a web-based, data visualisation to illustrate match results between 2008 - 2013.
The end result leveraged a combination of HTML, CSS and several front-end JavaScript web libraries, such as D3 and Processing.js. The database (a collection of csv files) was visualised by two view modes. The first, a tabular format, could be filtered and sorted in order to provide quick insights into the dataset. The second, a geographic view, provided a sense of the frequency and the relative goal differential of the seasonal matches.
This data visualisation was coded as part of SWEN303: User Experience Engineering, at Victoria University of Wellington, School of Engineering and Computer Science in 2014.
